Feeling lazy

Anyone else want to get the chores done daily but cannot. What about the spiders webs this year, have you cleaned them up cause I havn't not on the outside like doors or windows. I have to pay for a gardener to keep my back garden weed free. I tried to do my front but I felt like I might fall into the roses. It is aweful to know that you cannot do the ordinary jobs that you used to do. I go to excersise classes for the tripping up that used to happen. I have received a lovely pressie today, a walking aid with a seat in the middle, the physio is going to show me how to use it tomorrow.

Eeeh what a laugh. Hope your feeling better than me.

Best wishes to you all.

Chin up, hands,

I have my rubbish days, as I call them. I tripped a week ago tomorrow, flat out onto my nose. Funny when I think about it now but not at all good at the time. ;) I have a few bruises but nothing appears to have broken/fractured. My strategy is to keep as busy as I can but I leave the outside cobwebs to the window cleaner who turns up every couple of months or sometimes I get a broom and deal with them, if the mood takes me.

Enjoy your new toy. :) You will probably find it makes life that much easier and so many people use them, of all ages.

Webs, spiders, that sounds friendly. Better a web or Three or four than flies buzzing round, the only time I'm not keen is when they come up a plug hole! Chores: what are chores? Because I have various health problems/ disabilities , the word Chores does not come into my conversations. I have a Homehelp once a fortnight and once a week for any ironing. So that's Chores sorted. Forget the outside of the house for spiders, that's their free space. There's more to life than chores is my thinking. So that leaves paper sorting which I'm really bad at controlling. All the stuff that comes through the letter box and more besides. I'm hopeless at dealing with it. And find it sometimes gets out of control like NOW. Still tomorrow is another day and I'll try really hard. ( I promise myself)

All the physios say you need rest between periods of activity in order to recover, so get rid of the word 'lazy'.

I deal with housework by inviting someone round for a visit, this means you have a reason for sorting things out and a deadline.

Now is a good time to order spring bulbs online - would the gardener plant them for you? Doesn't take long to put them into pots for instance, and it is such a pleasure seeing them come up in the spring.

Hope you get on well with your walker.

Hi Hilary, yes the physio says take it easy, but when you look around I feel I should be getting on with the work. Some days the bone in the bottom of my back aches like crazy. I know I can not do anything while like that.

The walker is fantastic I do not have to keep stopping. Been to the knit and natter today. Done more nattering than knitting.

Take Care.
