Hi I had a spinal op in Feb and hip replacement op in June so had penetrative sex recently and although moist on entering felt like knives and further penetration caused unbelievable pain!!

I have lower abdominal pain

Yes you definitely need to see your doctor as Heron says could be an infection and that could lead to real complications if left untreated.

Your best bet discuss this with your doctor who can arrange further tests and xrays for you.
