One of our biggest supporters, AstraZeneca, would like your personal feedback. They are developing a printable cheat sheet for newly diagnosed HCC patients who are considering IMFINZI (durvalumab) and IMJUDO (tremelimumab) as treatment options. The goal would be to bring the cheat sheet to their doctor's appointment.
Here's what they would like to know.
1. What questions would be important to ask the doctor?
2. What are some questions that maybe a patient wouldn't think to ask but are important to understanding the treatment?
3. What other content would be helpful for a patient to have on the cheatsheet?
4. Any other feedback you want to share?
Thank you so much!

First I want to thank AstraZenica for everything they do. The cheat sheet is a wonderful idea. So many times you get to the appointment and it's so rushed that you can't remember anything you wanted to ask or everything the doctor said. 1. I think some important questions would be:
To ask questions about the possible side effects. I hate that when the doctor just wants to give you a print out or tell you it will be with the prescription.
I'd want to know how successful it's been for patients in similar cancer stage that you're in.
Also is it likely to cause damage
to the liver? If so, what should I look for?
Since most HCC treatment is palliative and to gain more time, give me an idea if we're talking about possibly gaining a month or two or more. This way I can weigh the possible side effects against the possible treatment outcome.
Not to do with the specific treatment but if this is new doctor, how much experience with and/or cases of HCC has he/she had? I've discovered that you can be wonderful at treating breast cancer, lung cancer, etc and not know anything about LIVER cancer.
If this was your husband/wife/ etc., is this the treatment you'd recommend?
Is there a limit to how long I can continue the treatment?
What/if anything/ would make me have to stop treatment or make me a bad candidate for it.
I think it would be great to have a place to jot down notes of the visit in addition to a place for jotting down answers to the questions.
Will taking this treatment effect or prevent me from any future treatment options?
I can't think of any others off the top of my head. If I do, I'll be sure to post them.
I'm doing better this week. Except now I have a cold. 😂. The girls Volleyball team that our niece coaches and great-niece plays on (also where all Jimmy's family has attended) is in the playoffs. We won District, Bi-District and Area. Now on Tuesday they play for Regional Quarterfinals. So I've been a volleyball supporter and traveling to our if town games the last couple of weeks. So enjoyed our visit. ❤️Sharon ❤️❤️❤️
