What's the general treatment for stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma? With metases? Life expectancy?

Firstly, I haven't seen you here before -- so welcome!

As for your question: cholangiocarcinoma, while related to liver, is actually in the bile duct -- as such, I have very little information on it, I'm afraid. From what I've seen, though, it tends to have a higher life expectancy than primary liver cancer. The exact numbers vary by source and by study. Treatment I'm not terribly familiar with, and you'll want to ask your doctors (we're primarily an emotional support group for patience and caregivers, we cannot replace medical professionals).

Hopefully someone else will have more info to share, as it's definitely a close cousin of liver cancer.

I also don't have much info on cholangiocarcinoma myself either. Very sorry about that. I feel as if I've seen a few posts from others here about that so hopefully they will chime in.
