Hi, I am a 64 year old lady .? ? Having previously been diagnosed with very high BP and multiple admissions of low potassium. This went on for a decade before I was finally diagnosed as my GP wasn't aware of this condition. He did send me for kidney ct scan but this was reported as normal even though much later on i was diagnosed with Primary Hyperaldosteronism or Conns syndrome.
My BP is now down ,potassium normal but I suffer all of the symptoms of low potassium to the extreme...palpitations, digestive problems, severe weakness, muscle aches, etc. This is also getting worse. What can i do,my GP is clueless?

Yes thank you I am aware of it.The problem being for me is my very late diagnosis (?10 years untreated)Also of the severe type.It seems people on the site have much more assute doctors than mine and were diagnosed much sooner so they are not having the same problems. It's massively impacting on my life now,all my GP can offer is symptom control and pain relief.
