I’d be fascinated to know (just for my own information) if there’s any difference in the averages of morning versus before dinner versus before bed - is there a noticeable difference? As a rule I take mine at roughly the same time, 4 p.m., for consistency.
Did your medical practitioner suggest these very frequent readings to you? When I first bought a BP machine I was advised to just take the readings once a month, unless I thought there was a marked change. The reason I ask is that I wondered if you are worried over the numbers and that in itself was pushing them in an upwards direction?
Hi, I have been on Bendroflumethiazide, a diuretic, and Amlodipine for many years and not noticed any adverse effects from taking them. I have no experience of Atorvastatin. It sounds like a Statin. I had to stop taking Statins because of side effects. Don't believe the guff when they try to tell that statins have no effect.
although, SACB, I read a small research project recently that said that, of the people told they were on statins but were in fact taking a placebo, there were nearly as many side effects. In other words they were expecting side effects so they had them.
