Heart rate 95-105

After two trips to A and E in early November with BP 245/120 and heart rate 120 I was put on bisoprolol, amlopidine and Apixaban. Blood pressure is now way down around 100/75 - 110/80 but heart rate is still high 95 to 105 should I be concerned? Would upping the bisoprolol help. Currently taking 3.75mg. Daytime is OK but lying down I am very conscious of fast heartbeat.

I’d say this is one for the medical profession to advise you on. They will have the results of blood tests and may know your various numbers before you had these two episodes, along with family and your own past medical history.

You could contact Blood Pressure UK, the specialist charity, to see if they have a comment.

Thanks for your input. I will put a call in to surgery.

Is that resting in?

Yes, that is the resting rate. I'm wondering if the digital blood pressure monitor counts ectopic or extra beats. I have arrythmia. Sometimes pulse rate is 76 but not often.
