I know a healthy diet is good for keeping the bp and heart healthy and being new to high bp, I was wondering about yogurt as I eat it daily with fresh fruit and granola.

I have Greek yogurt generally but is there a better option? I get lower the fat the better but then they are generally higher in sugar.

what are your suggestions? X

Natural Greek yoghurt shouldn't have any added sugars. Greek " style" is a very different product.

As always-read the label for added whatsnots. 😝

Beware of any "low fat" foods ,because they often have loads of sugar.

Keffir may be better-- but it bungs up my ears, so I reckon I'm allergic -- lactose intolerant???

Good luck.

You need to read the ingredients carefully to ensure you are getting a natural product, not one that’s got a lot of additives.

There are good and bad fats, full fat Greek yogurt and avocados are good. They keep you full for longer so you (me!) don’t snack on sugary things! Have a Google for Prof. Tim Spector and his research into gut micro biome etc.

Thank you everyone, so confirmed my suspicion to avoid low fat due to sugar content. I will stick with natural Greek yogurt. @ruthwuth will def look at prof Tim research too, thanks ☺️
