Good Morning Everbody.

Even though we apparently statistically more likely to have snow in March than at christmas this winter keeps on going and going.

The Met office have issued a Cold Weather warning for England (the other regions do not fund cold weather warnings). Presumably Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be affected too.

This alert does have different meanings the further south you go, check the link below:

Potentially snow could be making a comeback (if it hasn't already) in some areas.

Without teaching you all to suck eggs - some tips.

1, If cold weather triggers your breathing problems try to stay in if the temperature goes below 5c.

2, Take your reliever medication approx 10 minutes before you leave the house.

3, Wear a thin scarf over your mouth to help warm the air up before it gets to your chest, and, if possible try to breathe through your nose - this also warms the air up before it hits your chest.

4, If your home is cold, wear layers of thin clothes rather than thick jumpers etc - thin layers keep the heat next to your skin better.

5, When sitting in your home keep your feet up - cold air circulates at ground level.

6, Keep active in your home if you are able.

7, Have hot food and drinks.

As always any problems give us a call - 03000 030 555.

Kind Regards

Jo
