Rhetorical question - What do you do if your wife can't stand the heat and you can't stand the cold? I pile on the clothes but it's breathing cold air that makes me short of breath. Only solution - sit in the study (small bedroom) with the fan heater on - expensive!

I too can't stand the cold air because it takes my breath, my husband on the other hand can't stand the heat, but he is very understanding, he strips off to his pants when I turn up the heating and i pile on the clothes, but then get too hot and have to take them all off again and turn down the heating, this is how it goes..... on off.....on off, know how you feel serenityfrank, guess its all part of our conditions.....
