I would appreciate your support in me writing this post as I do not wish to offend anyone.

I'm being asked daily to enter competitions and make calendars with the the pictures that I take ...

I'm politely asking you all to refrain to stop these suggestions as even though I share my pictures with a few I'm not going to be entering anything or making a calendar anytime soon if ever .

My photography is a hobby and something I really enjoy and doing something like that would take the pleasure out of my hobby I hope you all understand my feelings ..many thanks 🧡

I completely understand that Blackbird, you have said it before and it should be respected. I hope that those constantly asking will stop and that you will be able to continue your hobby as you wish and continue to grace us by sharing your beautiful photographs here. I love your photos. They bring joy to my day. I think that those urging you to create calenders etc are just expressing what a high standard they consider you achieve. We are all friends and I am sure that your fans will accept that this is your hobby and that you don't want to put yourself under pressure to do anything else with the pictures.xx

Hi Blackbird8 As you know, many times I have praised your talent for taking excellent photos. They are well composed photos and not just snapshots. Composure makes a photo along with correct lighting and lens. You see so many photos in your day to day walks. I completely understand that it is a personal hobby and you are not seeking pride from winning competitions. I get it and hope everyone else does. Not everyone wants to win competitions or create calendars for publishing. You carry on putting your talent on here though. Many not so well people get so much pleasure from your hobby. Every time a new photo goes on here from yourself I have to look. The pleasure you get from your hobby is passed on to all of us. Take care and keep on with your hobby. ps Hello Stanley or Stan the Man hope you are keeping well.

I can understand that. I take photos of the birds and I had a squirrel last week in my garden but I wouldn’t want to do anything with it apart from show them to my friends and family. X

Thank you for sharing your photos, its nice to have a hobby you really enjoy and to give others pleasure. I used to have two allotments and share my produce with others but not for profit purely for pleasure.
