I have been waiting for an ESA Assessment for 1 year now. I was told about a non-profit organisation, Fight Back 4 Justice, which provides an advocacy service to support people through the applications and appeals for PIP, DLA, ESA, UC claims and appeals. It cost max £11.99 per month. You only need to pay one month membership at a time. Maximum 2 if you need help in filling in the form, Assessment prep advice and support writing an appeal if your claim isn't upheld.

They do but they are heavily oversubscribed.

Yes, on many topics and issues including. I advocated fightback4justice as they will be able to write the decision and write the appeal within a certain number of days.

I know nothing about fightbac4justice but £11.99 a month sounds very expensive and something a lot of people would find too expensive, myself included.

There’s a website called benefits and work that is £20 a year where it guides you how to fill in these rotten forms and gives examples including guides for mandatory reviews.

There is also a very good forum where you can post questions

Thats the one I used to use before I became a pensioner. They also keep you upto date with changing rules if you join. The disabilities rights handbook cost less than £20 per annum if you are on benefits and covers all benefit rules ect and can also be borrowed from local libraries free.

As I said in my initial post, you only need to pay one month membership at a time. It's not continous. Thier turnaround for a review for appeal has been 3-4 days. It was worth the £11.99 for the 2 people I have been an advocate for in the past.

You are unlikely to need more than one month, maximum 2 if you need help in filling in the form, Assessment prep advice and support writing an appeal if your claim isn't upheld.

I particularly found the examples of effective completed forms and the up to date guidance very useful.

The DWP Decision Makers guide is also useful and available for free online which is the legislation but in more accessible form.

Age concern will help with filling in forms. They helped us wit pip. Have a chat with BLF they can advise you. As to who can help. But like most people paying for a service seems a bit much
