Can talking make pleurisy worse. Spent 2 months trying to recover from pleurisy. Now feel short of breath and pain and cough returning. Have i talked too much spent too long on the computer, oe was it my neighbour who stood too close to me 2 days ago ? Just jopw it's not covid.

I had this last year and it can linger on, hope you are on antibiotics - Not a good time for breathing, I am finding it hard and not even wheezing, not sure why.

Anyway hope you get well soon, if the symptoms do not go away, check back with GP .

Give 111/or your GP a call they may be able to help you . My breathing not good last couple of days the heat affects me. Take care and take it easy. Xx

Hi,Yes I have suffered with it and yes talking did hurt me,just rest up as much as you can.I do hope you start feeling better soon.x

Interesting. I'm a teacher and am finding that I get pleurisy symptoms after a tiring half-term. Spent 5 days on the sofa, r&r, with sore lungs, degrees of breathlessness and v.tired 😔
