BBC healthcheck programme

As a person in the vulnerable sheilding group in order to preserve my mental health and physical health i thought i would watch this programme

But how i wish i didn't. Dr xand say that everyone will be exposed to the virus and i immediately thought why am i bothering?

I do understand that the longer i stay safe and stay out if the infection pool the less bother i am to the NHS as a person with severe lung issues

Also the longer i remain safe i am obe more day nearer to perhaps being vaccinated.... but now i feel so downhearted...

Just a vent on how despondent i feel

You are also helping to preserve many lives as well as your own ledge, so thank you for being a part of all our survival. x x

Hope you are feeling more optimistic soon.

Meanwhile maybe some of the links from this post may be of value to you:-

healthunlocked.com/blf/post...

and humour videos on you tube can help change mood almost immediately.

Ledge,a small glimmer of hope is that hopefully those that gain the anti bodies will be in the majority so therefore we will have less chance of catching it until such time as they have established more effective treatments against it,this may take a considerable amount of time but in the meantime it is highly unlikely we will be run over by a bus. :) x

Are you going to bother with this online virtual Aintree, skis? Seems a bit pointless to me, a dead heat so to speak, but may replace some of the bookies missed income.....;-) xx

i haven't investigated it yet, though i did get a place on a virtual race at a made up racetrack,i am wondering if they will pay me in bit coins :) xx

Don’t feel down ledge, sometimes we hear and see things that are upsetting. I cherry pick what I watch and will just continue to stay safe and well so I can look after Pete.

Lots of things online to bring joy and laughter and we’re all here for each other too.

Stay safe. You’re doing well. Xxxx

Don’t watch much tv about Covid.

I’m in the very vulnerable group.

Have a lung condition ,lupus RA ,all of which I struggle with.to be recently had bacterial lung infection.

So i try to keep upbeat, watch a bit of the No10 bulletin, then ,either turn it off it at watch something else.

Stay safe.

We can all get an information overload at the moment . Our part at the moment is to stay home to save hospital beds. We may be in for the long haul , but who knows. It could be 18 months until we are truly safe via a vaccine. It’s a new way of life I guess.
