Lung function results help

Hi everyone. I hope you are all keeping warm and well as we run up to the festive period. I have never in the 8+ years I’ve been diagnosed been able to get my head around my lung function.

My latest results are FEV1/VC 0.55/2.15

Can anyone tell me what my lung function actually is?

Hi I presume you have copd in which case your lung function is the Fev1 figure, and not the one you quoted. Do you have that figure, if not contact your nurse or doctor to find out. x

Hi thanks. No I have Pulmonary Fibrosis. I found a copy of a lung function test which had these two figures and a 31 under them against an expected figure of 85. I’ll ask my GP thanks. I don’t see a respiratory nurse.

Can you take a picture of the report and post that, just leave out the top where it shows name etc.
