Cataract surgery

I have finally managed to contact the Ophthalmology department and actually arrange a date for surgery. It has been so difficult that I think they live in old mineshaft somewhere in the valleys, but when you contact them eventually they are so lovely and helpful. Anyway have got a date, 14th November, after I have the cardiac catheterisation. Life continues to be such jolly fun! All those hospitals! A lovely day today though, we walked the dog in the Forest and had lunch out so it was really pleasant. Spaniel Bracken and I are resting on the bed now. I can't believe he will be a year old next week.

Liked the comment on Only Connect tonight - if it's falling apart use duct tape, if it won't work use WD40. I think I need both!

We moved down to the Forest of Dean last year to be near family. Beautiful area and we feel very lucky. The dog likes it too!
