Meet the Missus.

skischool is a likely lad who has some good ideas.

He introduced his wife to us with a pic from previous years.

I thought that I would do the same with a photo of my wife.

So here I am with Midge and Margaret, two loves of my life.

Old Midge died soon after this, she was very old.

Margaret died in 2010, lung cancer not foretold.

(Taken Sidmouth, Devon. 1st October 2005)

That must have been a memorable holiday Don. Margaret is lovely - you look like you 'fitted' perfectly together.

Thank you, yes we did fit well for over 50 years. Sidmouth was like our second home. There is a Caravan Club site nearby where we would spend a couple of months most years.

What a lovely photo, Don. So nice to see you and your lovely wife looking so good together. Happy memories, eh? xx Moy

Thank you all for your heart lifting comments. I can hardly believe now how happy my wife Margaret and I were in those days. When she died it was as if half of me died with her. But then as the years roll by, you only remember the good things. We had our differences and I'm now able to do things which I could never have done then. Emotion is a strange uncontrollable thing and grieving the strangest of them all.
