Oramorph

I find the oramorph hardly touches pain under breast I have told doctor he just upped coedine to 2times 30 mg and says to take 5mg of oramorph but only gives me enough for5 days then have stress of trying to get more anyone was on oramorph and got better result from other please

It didn't work for me when I was last in hospital. I took Oramorph and codeine/paracetamol and they gave me Ibuprofen on top. Not sure this would be allowed at home though.

I also got coedine of doctor and I am dosing myself with ibuprofen and paracetamol

We do need to be careful as strong pain killers can have an effect on respiratory rates.

I know but can't cope with the pain and I still don't get much relief I have told the matron what I am taking

Should have read 60mg coedine 4times a day oramorph 5mg 4times a day but only prescribes 100mgmatron asked him for300mg never got it

I had oromorph in hospital after my trepanning (look it up!), and I wasn't impressed. It didn't to help that much.

I also have orimorph if pain too bad but I take oxycodone (OxyContin) which are 12 hour release and generally manage with just one 5mg each morning, but everyone's pain different and I did have injection in my spine which has greatly improved that pain.

I think that is what I need something to dull he pain it is awful and when doctor doesn't give enough medication the stress of trying to get more makes it worse this morning I have took the oramorph coedine paracetamol and ibuprofen and still in pain
