I use a salamol inhaler and this weather is making me feel like I'm fighting for breath any tips please

Small battery powered hand held fan, you can get one that as a built in water spray.

Good choices at Amazon, probably pound shop plus others.

As stone says, a fan pointed directly into your face (forcing the air in) does help

As I write this (at the desk) I have a little USB powered fan pointed into my face right now!

Cabbie169 it's not nice to be struggling in this heat it's a bit cooler here in Nelson I'm sitting by the open door with the breeze coming in I think stone and y_not have given you good advice take care Kathy x
