I met and spoke omeone who has been through a double lung transplant operation.

I met a lovely man yesterday called Bernard who is the same age as me he had a double lung transplant two years ago and spends a lot of his time going round local hospitals tell others about his experience, We both asked and answered questions that we we thought were helpfull again it's all down to the body being different from others and the outcome was different in nearly every case, In Bernards all was great from the minute he woke up and has never looked back and I wish him well. I would like to talk to someone else who has had the same operation so i can try and compare and maybe even a third person, I had to stop as I was getting so engrossed as my Oxygen tank was beging to get a bit low, If there is a question you want to ask I don't mind but remember everyone if different. Hi What a lovely positive post well done to Bernard and wish him well for the future and the good work he is doing going around to hospitals offering support. I will show my husband this post who also is on the list for a double lung transplant and to date has had two call ups from the hospital however the donors lungs were not suitable we await the next call and hopefully the transplant will go ahead.
