Just heard from my brother he has been awarded full everything on a reclaim and told all his money was being backdated.what I was wondering I was told on my reclaim that I was not getting back pay and had to wait 3 month for first payment anyone know how this works and he got same condition as me and I was awarded lower rates really don't understand

It how you are affected by, rather than the condition it self.

With regards your reclaim did you report a change of circumstances, which would be regarded as a new claim. ( this can be decided by the DWP if they feel such changes amount to a new claim)

Hence the delayed payment you have to have had the condition for three months before and lasting at least nine months.

I would ask for all your case papers, and seek advice to see if the correct procedure as been adhered to.

It's coz you're nearly 60 and I won't get there lol. So I'm going to cost them less money!
