Thank you everyone for suggesting various ways of making photographs smaller...

I spent the morning going through all your suggestions...while banging my head on the desk 'cos I couldn't grasp 'click on file' when 'file' didn't appear...and so on and so on.

Eventually found something...though don't ask me how 'cos I haven't the faintest idea...made the photo as small as it would go...and it's still too big for putting on here...

But I have a cunning plan...

I had exactly the same problem with my other camera until son-in-law twiddled something on the camera itself...lo and behold it was fixed. He's coming to stay in May, so I'll hand him the new shiny camera as he comes through arrivals at Knock...he likes to keep busy...!
