IPF research update - new developments in treatment

Hi guys,

I thought this might be of interest for anyone affected by IPF, whether you have the condition yourself or whether it is someone that you care for.

Recent studies into Acetylcysteine, Pirfenidone and Nintedanib have thrown up some interesting results, which may lead to changes in the way that some people are treated for IPF in future. Dr Helen Parfrey, Consultant Respiratory Physician at Papworth Hospital, talks about these studies and what they mean in a short film for the British Lung Foundation.

You can see what she says by going to: youtube.com/watch?v=0JWAeQD....

Best wishes,

Bethany
