Keep on, keep on

I just got back from my fifth hospitalization since June. The doctors are amazed that as quickly as I get very sick, I quickly recuperate. The doctor said I am a low maintenance patient and that my positive attitude in spite of all my illnesses has a big impact on my recovery. This site helps keep my attitude positive. Keep the site positive too. Thanks for the help you have given me so far.

Hello again. Low maintenance, heh? Sounds good to me. Keep smiling - I believe a positive attitude really helps.

I have two dogs and a cat who also help uplift my spirits, one is a brown lab. I assume you have a dog based on your picture. I love flowers, they symbolize renewal. I huff to get the gook out of my lungs and no longer puff the evil weed (16 months).

Happy is tough. Hopeful but realistic is what I feel.

Hi Drd. My Husband has just missed hospital by the skin of his teeth in the last few days. The Dr threw at him Doxycycline Clarithromycin and prednisone. He was quite ill Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday he was much better and today better again. Like you he is a positive person. I was very worried. Glad you are feeling better now.

Thanks. Hope he continues to improve. The doctor throws, your husband makes a perfect catch. I feel sorry for my husband and you. Tough being a caretaker. Another reason I try to be positive.

Hi Drd. Thanks for your post. My Husband is not usually good at catching only infections but he did catch that one. It can be tough being a carer but we all have to stay positive. You take care.

Thanks. Good wishes mean a lot to someone who is stuck at home a lot. Thank God for my Kindle/laptop and television (telly).

Hi DRD - Yes to the positive attitude love to hear it. Take good care, TAD xx

If all/most of us on this site weren't fighting the good fight we wouldn't be participating. The generally good care I take (sometimes try to do too much) compensates somewhat for the poor care I took in the past.

Thanks for your good wishes. I feel I should get frequent flyer miles at the hospital or maybe a memorial wing named in my honour.
