Possible Silent Heart Attack?

I overdid the exercise a bit on Friday and a bit later I had a weird feeling in my chest, but on the right side. On Saturday and Sunday I had aching and cold feet and ankles. Then in the early hours of Monday morning, I woke up with aches along the length of my legs with occasional shooting pains, aches and pains in my lower back and a terrible headache.

The aches/pains have gone, but the headache is still there, though not as bad. But it has been there constantly and paracetamol didn't really help . I have been weak and tired for couple of days and had no appetite. The only time I have ever had a constant headache for several days was in ICU after my cardiac, though it was much much worse then.

I'm worried that I might have had a silent heart attack. I can see from my watch that from late sunday night my heart rate was a bit higher than normal and my stress levels were also high. My resting heart rate was higher too, but has now gone back to normal.

Any thoughts?

my thought is that you must see a medical person, urgently.

Need to get this diagnosed professionally. No point in speculating on here. In worst case, action can be taken and treatment started. You need to have your bloods done and basic diagnostics evaluated by professionals.

Keep a track of your symptoms and if it gets worse or something is off - go straight to a&e or see a gp at very least.

Hope you get better.

It sounds like your body was under quite a bit of strain from the overexertion Friday, and possibly fighting off a virus. Right-sided chest discomfort, aching legs, cold feet, and a headache are not typical heart attack symptoms. The elevated HR and stress metrics on your watch are very common in situations like this—your body’s just waving a little white flag. That said, given your history and the fact that you’re still not quite right, a check-in with your GP or cardiac nurse might give you peace of mind and rule out anything silent going on. But from what you’ve described, this sounds far more like a post-exertion viral-type response than a cardiac event.

I called the heart function team, and the reassured that based on what I said it sounded most definitely that I had not had a silent heart attack, but they understood why I might make that connection.

It was very helpful and reassuring to call them, and eased my worries. Im still not quite 100%, but getting there.
