when the BNP is 6200….that is that pg/ml as in should be under 100!.

My husband had this level in November and today it was rechecked and it’s now 8606!,

anyone has less Oedema and no breathlessness but a higher BNP reading ?

Has he been sent for echo cardiogram to check his EF that seems very high mine was 2500 and like your husband no breathlessness or oedema but EF was only 42 % is he on any medication

Last heart echo was in December and was 10-15% …..since then with diuretic and beta blocker things looked better…,no breathless etc ….but the BNP has shocked me! He is starting ramipril next week….

He was on all of these meds but they thought he was end of life at Christmas….now 2.5 months later they’re slowly introducing everything again…It’s so very confusing and worrying 💔

Hopefully they on the case now just keep pushing for answers with cardiology as unfortunately these days unless you ask they just seem to put you on the the to do file I had to request an updated BNP test as last one was 2022 and again its high so now got to wait for an appt for another Echo and just keep taking meds in interim hope all goes well
