Hi, I had AVN ablated 2022 had a pacemaker fitted then developed HF (LVSD) and needed a CRT pacemaker which I got in Oct 2024 also was in AFib and had a cardioversion Dec 2024.
Meds are, ramipril, dapagaflozin, bisoprolol.
Last echo showed my EF had improved due to CRT LV pacing, QRS was now good and I wasn't in AFib or HF, which was excellent news, however often through night and the first couple of hours when I get out of bed I get intense pounding heart beats and ectopics, I feel my body thumping, may sound odd but I feel as though blood is rushing through my body and get a dull pain in my head.
With being paced and on bisoprolol which I thought was to slow down the heart rate i don't know why this happens? I still also get the odd palpitations. I have made my EP aware but he didn't seem to concerned, just wondering if this is the new norm? Certainly doesn't feel right so thought I'd see if anyone on here might be in a similar position?
