Hi Georod, each health board is different I suppose, and also depends on the waiting list. I haven't seen my cardiologist in over a year, but I see my cardiac nurse every 6 months and she is amazing, but obviously can't do an echo. My EF was 25% when a pacemaker implant was attempted but unsuccessful (see my bio) so I don't actually know if this has increased with all the meds I take. I've got it into my head that my EF is worse. I'm hoping I'll get an echo this year when hopefully my consultant will send me an appointment. Wishing you all the best. Take care.
