I take daily 40 mgs Furosemide for past 6 months or so.In recent weeks the breathlessness has got a bit worse.
I went to GP the other morning and has increased the daily Furosemide to 60mgs. I have to see GP again in 7 days.
My legs are not swollen as before but noticed some sign of swelling round ankles.
What has concerned me was if it would cause a further big weight loss as before.
I saw the Pharmacist to discuss this and said if the swelling is not as bad as before I shouldn't experience significant weight loss.
Also after 3 days my breathlessness is still more or less the same.
Thoughts anyone?
