Could anybody shed some light on E F?.So 2 years ago I had scans on my heart to investigate why my heart rate was high, just reading back on some old letters sent from consultant and it said something like remarkable due to 25% ejection fraction. I was all new to this heart trouble, and seem to be learning new things myself and not from the experts! I have learned more on this group than my so called health professionals have explained to me.. so I had the ablation done for what they thought was A F and it turned out to be persistent junctional reciprocating tachycardia I had been having. So I had ablation done. And felt fine no more racing heart or breathlessness no exhausting fatigue. And this past few months I have been having chest tightness on occasions which has spread to my jaw. So had another scan to see what was going on that result came back atrial dilatation which I posted on the group for any advice. The doctor are treating it has angina gave me gtn spray and put me on bisoprolol and aspirin. And now waiting some scan where they insert dye into me to highlight the heart. I feel I am not being ressured or being explained properly. And feel very frustrated! I am just trying to piece the whole picture together to see if it's all related. The last scan result was atrial dilatation. And was told that's because my heart had to work alot faster.

So worried and scared really because you only get one heart. And feel your just a number on this over worked over stretched NHS!
