In terms of energy levels, pain, emotional well being, or something else?

(Sending hugs in any case 🤗)

can you explain 'not feeling like you', physically or mentally?

I add a heart attack and 2 arrests and a stent fitted in 2021 then I started going down hill, now I have been diagnosed with ischeamic heart disease Gp said it will get worse. I have to use a 4 wheeled walker, not allowed to drive anymore because of my dizziness. I am totally breathless. I just hope you recover from your heart attack to lead a normal life

wow thank you for all your messages it’s great to think that you’re never on your own when going through this. I’m sorry for the moan before I think I just need to get used to a slightly different version of me and give a head a little wobble and put the smile back on my face and get on with it ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Are you having any Cardiac Rehab? I had my HA & Stents in 2021 and joined a long-term Rehab class in 2022. Both the exercise and the social side of the group help me feel a bit more alive

I am a 66y/o F and had an NSTEMI June 2019. It took about 18 months until I felt comfortable returning to exercise and full activities. During that time I had various aches and pains, a repeat stress test, a medication change as like yourself I didn't feel back to normal and was seeking answers. My ejection fraction was 46% after the stents due to ischemia from 90% blockage in the LAD and I think it just took my heart the 18 months to heal. A echo in 2022 had my ejection fraction back to 66%. I did try to walk every day gradually building up the distance to 3 miles most days and I now take a strength class 3 x week. I have also lost 2 stones in weight. I can say that I am back to "normal" now, allowing for a little extra age. 😊

Are you exercising, walking etc. This was the key for me.Mentally I had counselling. Talked it all out in 8 sessions and a bit of Mindfulness.

Remember though. You don't want to be the old you as that nearly killed you. You need to find the new you.
