So you have been off work until now Gaz?! Chase it up, call the secretary in the cardiology department if you know which hospital you are going to be referred to 👌 You can't stay forever off work unless they pay you decent sick pay Gaz 👍Waiting is the worst really! Another lady I spoke to recently had her appointment cancelled because she needs first another examination!

Hope you get this soon Gaz okay 🆗🥰

Well my Landlord wants to sell the house I am renting, after 15 years! I lived in this town for 31 years and I feel extremely sad about all this!

Take care Gaz and look after yourself 👍and glad you're feeling so much better 👌

Sorry to hear the landlord wants to sell the house you have been renting, I have two more weeks sick money paid for which I have built up over the years, Had a doctor's appointment and they said give them two more weeks to get in touch

Well 2 weeks isn't that long and it quickly goes Gaz! What if you don't hear from them and you should go back to work? Could you work 4 hours x 5 per week after your sick leave? Until you have your cardiology appointment? Ask your GP to kindly chase this up once more Gaz 📞☎️

Everything seems to be so difficult at the moment! Long waiting times NHS, RENT rises, extortionate in my Area near Harrogate!

I just keep you in my prayers Gaz that you soon get that appointment with cardiology, Okay 🙏

After my heart attack I was glad to be off work for a while but then I really had to earn money again to survive financially! My sick pay was £80 or less per week and it would have been difficult to pay my rent altogether here! So had to go back working 🥰 Life is full of surprises Gaz 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for your reply, I should have two more weeks off on full pay I hope, I will try a get in touch with cardiology department if not heard anything next week , If I am off longer it's statutory sick pay, I was waiting for a cardiology appointment since November anyway and a 72 hour holster monitor since September, I was waiting for a Echocardiogram ultrasound for 13 months

Pity we end up with ill-health Gaz, and then we wait for this and that appointment or device 👌 I think us with health issues have to have a lot of patience with waiting 👍 I really hope you hear of them soon! Have a good night Gaz 🌇 Night my friend 🥰🌃

I’d ring up the cardio dept Monday…I’d not heard anything from them despite a Falls/syncope consultant wanting urgent tests from my local hospital, over various phone calls got ‘oh we don’t do that’, to ‘no referral’, to ‘ long waiting list and cardiologist has triaged you as routine’ the third/ least important patient etc, but by following day an appointment arrived in the post which I don’t think would have arrived if I had not nudged them!

Hello :-)

I am glad you are feeling a lot better :-)

No surprise you are still waiting to hear from the cardiologist for an appointment and I would keep chasing it up to seems what so many of us find ourselves doing now chasing appointments :-)

Let us know when you hear something :-) x

Why don't you ring the hospital where you were treated to find out what's happening? Start with the cardiology dept secretary, preferably the one who works for the senior consultant who is responsible for your care. What do your discharge notes advise, are you classed as urgent or routine?

I will phone them next week, Did not say anything on my notes just said in notes suspected Conduction disorder of the heart A+E doctor said they would get in touch with cardiology to make a appointment you will here something in two weeks, I have had a doctor's appointment and they said what another two weeks to see what happens

I wonder then if A&E did contact Cardiology Department Gaz ❓🤔 In reality your GP should chase this up or make an referral ASAP! Can't wait forever can you? Could you pay for a private Cardiology appointment ❓ Some people have actually done that! I wouldn't wait too long! Call the secretary and get it sorted! Your GP is a bit too laid back for my liking Gaz! It's not his life, it's your life, right?

My doctor noticed my cholesterol was high last blood test and I am on a new medication now called Ezetimibe! I am glad she looked out for me 👍 It agrees with me physically and doesn't cause me any pain in my legs like Atorvastatin which I discussed with the doctor's Pharmacist 👍

Anyway got a busy day ahead tomorrow Gaz!

It's my Birthday and my 4 children are treating me to a posh dinner in Harrogate! Looking forward to seeing my 3 sons and daughter 😁🙏❤️

Better settle now, Night night 🌃🌇🥰
