Over the last number of months I've been getting out of breath very quickly even when I'm just walking. I've had a ECG and blood tests done this afternoon I go for a chest xray once this has been done I need to make my doctor's appointment for all my results.
I do suffer from FND , NF1,,also anxiety and sleep apnea, I'm getting very concerned about my breathing I've noticed some whizzing but the doctor said my chest was clear.
I would appreciate if anyone could please give me some advice please and put my mind at ease.

you’ve done the right thing to contact your own health practitioner for tests. You say you have FND - I assume from this a Neurological disorder? and I don’t know what your other condition NF1 is.
We are not medical people here, just people who have heart troubles of various sorts; or who care for those who do.
While you await the results of your tests have a look at the British Heart Foundation website for advice on nutrition and exercise - just in case your lifestyle and diet need tweaking.
And, this might not be the best forum for you as you are suffering from wheezing and chestiness. There might be a better forum here on Health Unlocked? I don’t know, but you have probably only a short time to wait for your test results and then you can get reassurance from your GP
Have asthma and COPD been discounted? Have you been given lung capacity tests? If you were ever a smoker even years ago it is still apparently possible to get COPD. I gave up over 45 years ago and although it doesn't normally bother me my asthma nurse tells me my occasional breathing difficulties which have come along in recent years are COPD related caused by smoking, along with symptoms of asthma.
Hi, as said has your dr. excluded a respiratory cause for your symptoms like COPD, a lung function test is required for this. Have you had an ECHO test? Good luck.
I think the best advice is to try to expedite the test results quickly by being pleasantly proactive rather than just wait for them to gradually dribble out from whoever took them.
In the meantime your symptoms directly relate to increased humidity as we have gone through a very wet period. High humidity and respiratory conditions do not mix.
Also has your diet changed or are you overweight as these could all be factors in your breathlessness.
But to put your mind at rest you need those results ASAP.
I agree with what others have said already. You obviously have some significant underlying problems already, but new breathlessness always has to be taken seriously. There are many causes that could be relevant in your case and at your age. If your doctor does not have a diagnosis at your next visit, it is worthwhile discussing with them what others have suggested as possibilities to look into (if the doctor doesn't obviously have a plan of 'where to next'). One diagnosis that can be missed is 'pulmonary arterial hypertension', which can be detected on echocardiogram done by a good technician. I say all this as a now-retired GP who has had a lot of experience with heart disease. Don't be too anxious about all this - it may take a bit of time to sort out, but you should have your answer and a management plan in due course. All the best.
