Nausea and Vommiting

I had a mild MI back in 2019 and only recently have been feeling fit and well again. I've been discharged from cardio dept.

I've been back to how I felt before the MI, full of beans, getting things done, working without fatigue. All in all, recently I've been feeling very well indeed.

However this past week I've been finding myself getting tired easily again.

Along with that I'm getting bouts of dizziness. It's been happening for about a week. It comes on about mid-day and gets gradually worse as they day goes.

Last night the dizziness got so bad that I felt like I was spinning out of control while just sitting still. The slightest movement made me feel pretty sick. I actually felt so ill, like I was going to die. I was grey in colour, clammy. But no chest pain. Eventually I vommitted and felt a wee bit better after that. Enough to get up to bed and sleep for a few hours.

Today I'm starting to feel dizzy again.

Is this just some viral thing? I hope it's not cardio related.

Only a doctor can answer that! No medical expert but as it’s been a week maybe you should seek medical help? 111 to start with? Hope you feel better soon

Please contact 111 and described your symptoms to them, with your past history its better to get this sorted now, hopefully it is nothing but let the experts tell you that. PLEASE DO THIS NOW.

Take care and please keep us informed

Thanks everyone.I'm feeling OK right now with just mild dizziness, but I will call 111 and see what they say.

Hi EveryoneThanks so much for all your concerns. I spoke to my GP he reckons it was some form of gastric thing. (My words not his!) and not cardio. I was pretty tired all weekend, but feeling good again now.

Thansk again.

So pleased to hear that! Mind, with a name like ‘DeepFriedMarsBar’ the ‘gastric thing’ was always a likely contender?! 🙂👍🙏
