Sore throat and ulcers

Hello I am suffering from sore throat and ulcers for the last week, just wondering if it is the meds I am on for afib and heart failure ie 10mg bisoprolol 0.625 digoxin, furosemide and edoxaban anyone else had this please?

The NHS website says this in relation to furosemide

Tell your doctor or call 111 now if you get:

unexplained bruising or bleeding, a high temperature, sore throat and mouth ulcers these could be signs of a blood disorder

So maybe worth talking to a doctor about it tomorrow if possible, if not a call to 111 is in order.

I am on the same, never suffered , Licorice good for ulcers but bad for blood pressure,Digoxin so don’t eat a bag full

Your on a high dose of Bisoprolol, mine was 1.25/daily. But we should not compare meds and why the doses are different. I think perhaps it's the start of the bugs season!

I think there's a nasty bug going round. A friend in Scotland has just had it. It seemed to be clearing up then flared up again. It's been 3 weeks now.

Thank you for everyone's replies I am seeing gp tomorrow for ecg and will get it checked I only asked on here because this won't go away and it is classed as side effects for bisoprolol and furosemide have tried lots of throat treatments and gargles first, so I just wondered whether this was something other people had experienced as a side effect will find out tomorrow!
