cardiomegaly

on my most recent CT follow up (post aortic root surgery) for an aneurysm it was noted or observed there was cardiomegaly (Heart enlargement). There is an echocardiogram scheduled for next week which is done in conjunction with the CT scan for comparison afterwards a console with the surgeons office. All has been good up till now and I will wait to hear their analysis of the scans. I don’t have any adverse symptoms that would indicate this is going on. , no shortness of breath as I am active for 66 yrs old and have worked out all my life.

Anyone here have any experience with this that they would share ? My blood pressure is very good and I had a catheterization pre op 5 yrs ago which indicated I was all clear of plaque build up. This is troubling to me as my suspicion is there may be valve related IE regurgitation ??

Many thanks for any input

is it cardiomyopathy you have? There are three types what is yours? Great videos on utube about it. I prefer the medical training ones. I have dilated cardiomyopathy.
