Bisoprolol side effects: Hello everyone... - British Heart Fou...
Bisoprolol side effects
Hi Parya I was put on 5mg per day 10 months ago and it started working after 1 week, so your on 10mg so after one week you should definitely see a difference, I had palpitations for a decade I told GP who took my pulse and said it's AF Irregular heartbeat and it's the best medication for me personally I'm sorted with it, BP has come down as well, I keep updating if it works for you as I expect it will 👍
You might have "white coat syndrome" with the anxiety of being diagnosed with AF and the need to lower your heart rate and blood pressure. I still have anxiety going to the clinic, I sit there saying to myself, be calm, be calm, deep breaths, it don't work as they always do a sharp intake of breath and go ohhh it's a bit high and I think to myself no sh!t Sherlock have you got heart issues that disrupt your life.
When my cardiologist put me on Bisoprolol, he said it would take atleast a couple of months for it to kick in.
I have been on 12mgs was on 10 for 10 years , treat your Biso as your best friend it’s saving your life , I do not have side effects, or maybe do not notice them …You will be fine , I am now 82 yrs and still fully active.
