wound problems

13 weeks post op .. still have wound soreness. It’s so sore and red and have something sticking up under the skin .. when I was discharged he looked at it but didn’t say anything about it. . So glad I didn’t listen to the consultant who said no need to go to the cardio rehab . The nurse was lovely and helpful felt less anxious. Did the beep test and answered lots of questions showed her my wound which is worrying me she was so helpful took pictures and assessed it . I’ve been referred to the wound clinic ..

At 13 weeks you should not have this problem. If the appointment with the wound clinic does not come through soon, go back to your GP who can speed things up. I hope you feel better soon.
