I am at present using Evergreen life for accessing my medical requests online. Sometimes though it gets unconnected if that’s the right word. I do have the NHS app. I believe you can oder repeat prescription on there. Do anyone do this if so does it process like the other one Evergreen life you get your meds delivered the same
NHS app: I am at present using... - British Heart Fou...
NHS app
I know nothing about Evergreen but I use the NHS app all the time.
You need to tell your surgery which local pharmacy you are going to use and the prescription gets sent to them as soon as the doc has signed it. If your local chemist delivers then you’d need to organise this with the pharmacy, though.
As advised by Happyrosie above
I use the NHS regularly and have always found the prescription requesting facility works flawlessly. As you mention the evergreen app,, which I believe is a commercial business, does disconnect but the NHS app has always tended to connect and work as required. Hope that helps
Yes I use the NHS app and they link to my GP and Pharmacy and delivery is not a problem. They let me know when my meds for the month are ready and also you can request a new prescription via the app when it runs out.
I use the NHS app and can change the pharmacy or get delivery through the app. I find delivery is best these days. All free.
The nhs app will allow you to access your record, view your prescriptions, chose your pharmacy, you can see what meds are prescribed and the duration they are prescribed and when and were to get them - I think you could possibly benefit from the nhs app - it's quite easy to use- if u don't have full access the reception staff at the doctors can give u access if u call them - it is quite good - mine gave ne a choice of local pharmacy and u can change it on the app
The NHS app sounds great I wonder why we don't have one in Scotland. Char
The NHS app can definitely be used to order repeat prescriptions, I'm looking at that option now. You have to nominate your pharmacy. It can be used alongside your GP practice or pharmacy repeat prescription service and doesn't affect the delivery options you already have set up.
I use Pharmacy2u (Lloyds Pharmacy) to fulfil my prescriptions and, apart from shortages of medication nationally affecting them, I've had no issues. I have heard of some people having issues though (hope I haven't spooked mine). They deliver by post (that's why I use them) and if a drug is out of stock they have the option to deliver everything else. I tried my local chemist who deliver but they were awful.
Prior to that I used Boots for home delivery. I'll never use them again after they lied to me about being unable to provide the service as my doctors didn't prescribe electronically when they actually did so.
I use the NHS app all the time as you can do so many things than just ordering medication. I use it to access my medical records, which show current status of hospital letters, appointments with GP and hospital, consultation letters, historic medical records and lots more. I get alerts informing me of messages or letters that have been added to my records it’s a very useful app.
The NHS app gives you blood tests results and show up coming hospital appointment. You can text and send letters to doctors too
I use RXLive for a free delivery service for my medication, It get send by the royal mail and tell you when it's coming.
The doctor surgery has the information about all my medication, that get sent to RXLive.
NHS app has improved alot now.
