good morning, just a quick question I had 2 stents fitted in dec 23, all was ok. But In the last 2 weeks I’ve had terrible palpitations mostly when I’m lying down it feels like my heart is racing 100 miles an hour, and last for ages then my heart feels like it physically hurts, also my heart always feels like it’s fluttering all the time. But I don’t feel sick or ill. . I’d this normal

If I may ask, what meds have you been taking?
Ramaprill, aspirin, bishopol, statins.,Clopadogrel.
The Bisoprolol is for the palpitations, it can take time for it to kick in, 2 to 3 months. Have you noticed any changes in your BP?
Been taking it for over a year , bp has always been very high
Sorry to hear that. I was struggling with a couple of things after my stents too (ongoing).
One was my weight and BP. But eventually both started to come down. So far I've lost half stone, but this can very quickly come back, I have to be strict with myself and my BP has fallen from 150/65 to 120s/65. I am back to work full time as well, but with some minor changes happening all the time.
