FH and AF and heart disease

I have high cholesterol (suspect FH) but well controlled with statins and ezitimbe

I know that with high cholesterol I’m at higher risk of heart attack and stroke but what about the risk of developing AF or heart disease ?

the quickest explanation of cardiovascular disease, which high cholesterol may well contribute to, is explained on the NHS website.

I think if you read this, then you might have enough information but you are welcome to come back to this forum to see if there’s anything you don’t understand and that we non-medics could he,p with.
