Good morning everyone firstpost. I have just had an angiogram I now have two narrowed arteries pressure wire test ok, the consultant was rushing between cath labs and said I have reversible ischemia?? Not sure what that means. I would have had a stent if pressure wire test failed. Any insights are welcome.

ischaemia is where blood flow to a particular organ (your heart I assume in this case) is reduced due to partial blockages in the arteries which supply blood to the organ.
And the way to reverse it apart from any medication is a lifestyle one: no smoking, exercise, a good diet.
Have a read of the website of the British Heart Foundation and maybe give their helpline a ring.
I expect your consultant will send a letter to your GP with the results of the angiogram . Your GP should be able to explain reversible ischemia and any treatment; I found it helpful to have a copy of the letter when I spoke to my GP.
I believe reversible ischemia means that the angina occurs when the heart is under strain e.g. during exercise and goes away (reverses) once you stop exercising rather than a blockage that can be reversed.
