Angiogram

I was admitted last Wednesday and had my echo scan today and on the list in the afternoon for an angiogram unless cancelled. Oh I will be glad when it’s done and home hopefully next day

That wait is awful.I was admitted into our local hospital on a Tuesday and was quickly diagnosed as having a heart attack, unfortunately our local hospital can carry out an angiogram but not an angioplasty.

I had to wait a week for a transfer to Castle Hill in Hull for my angioplasty to be carried out.

I was discharged the following day.

Wow, that was quick! Some people wait a year or more! Worthwhile waiting a few days in hospital and getting it all done than waiting on an outpatients waiting list.
