I had quadruple by pass 7years ago, pacemaker 8 months ago , I am now getting bouts of low B/P which is quite scary. Seen GP twice in the last two months and they say they are reffering me back to cardiology , but still waiting , has anyone any similar experience .??

There is another thread active at the moment about low blood pressure which may help but you could also ring / email the cardiac technicians telling them your problem. They can check that the pacemaker is functioning the best it can for you. You should be on their books and not need to go via the GP.

cotonh , thank you for your reply, I had been on to cardiology for advice regarding a heart monitor I could wear when out walking, his reply was that I had the best monitor in my P/ maker ,and if there was a problem they would know about it . ! but that does not tell me anything when out walking . Will just have to live in hope.?
