SCAD research

At an old job a colleague there died from that and she was only 40 and it was a right shock when I found out!
It's a reminder of how nothing is guaranteed to any of us in life!
I had not one symptom it was found by chance in a blood test x
Please can I ask what blood test, or how you were diagnosed with scad? I’m healthy but had a recent heart attack and I notice in a letter the consultant has questioned scad, but my angiogram was normal.
What is SCAD please?
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection, or “SCAD”, is when a tear suddenly occurs within the layers of one or more of the coronary arteries. This can slow down or block the blood flow to the heart, leading to a heart attack.
Fantastic news Nikki, You will be helping yourself and others who are diagnosed with SCAD. Good luck my lovely x
