? I was wondering how many people are using remote monitoring apps and what you experiences of them are?
I am using docobo to log my weight, blood pressure, blood oxygen level and any symptoms. I'm sure it's useful for the heart team monitoring me, but once I log stuff I can never see it again. So for me it's not very useful. I have a Garmin watch so log everything in its app too, where at least I can see the data over time etc. Plus I can see my heart rate, track exercise etc too.
Is anyone else using docobo or anything else to log stuff for their heart team or GP to use for monitoring and what do you think of it?

Have you told the heart team about the information that you are sending them. I very much doubt that they would have time to log all of your various readings. Imagine the amount of patients they have and if they all sent loads of information to be logged and checked then the NHS would be in an even worse state.
Perhaps I wasnt very clear. The heart team asked me to use Docobo and enter the readings so that they can remotely monitor me - as you correctly say, they don't have the time to do this themselves.
My point is, that although i'm sure this is all very useful for the heart team, its not useful for me as a patient (other than to know that I am being monitored) e.g. when I enter my bp and weight etc today, I can never see that information again. So if I want to know what my bp was last week, I have to keep track of it somewhere else i.e. I have to track it twice, once for the heart team and once for myself.
I just use garmin vivoactive 4s watch , gammon connect and occasionally a chest strap heart rate monitor for specific training to keep an eye on my heart rate working and average resting etc , log my blood pressure ( use an Omron BP monitor occasionally at home). I think it it’s helped with providing stats to my GP and helping to show regular episodes of lowered BP , had dome meds changed and feeling better. I have no experience of docobob app. Did your medical team request that you use it ?
I am under Harefield Hospital waiting for OHS to replace my mitral valve. They use an app called Ortus-iHealth where I can send them readings of my blood pressure resting heart rate, pulse oxygen level, weight. They monitor this to see if my results change to see if I can be moved further up the waiting list. They also use another app called MyChart which show me the results of all the tests and appointments I have had at the hospital. I can see the trends of the readings I have put into Ortus
I was on the same for several months. I kept my own records but it's mainly for them to keep an eye on you and I did receive a number of calls following submissions to ask about any changes. However I have recently been told that funding has been removed so all the equipment has been returned. I was under the Blackpool trust
