Hello first time post, I wonder if anyone could share any light on my results? I'm due to have pci tomorrow but I still haven't seen a consultant since these results to discuss and I'm a bit nervous.I had a catheter ablation about 5 years ago and that went OK but now I haven't a clue about this!I'm 52,don't drink, smoke, slightly overweight by a stone. My mother passed away from a mi when she was 66 after having a TAVI fitted so I'm quite stressed atm ,thanks for reading and have a lovely day everyone.

Hi Mariamoggy,
Unfortunately, we cannot interpret test results on the forum. However, you may find contacting one of the cardiac nurses at the BHF useful. They are a great resource and very knowledgeable. They should be able to provide you with further information regarding your test results. Their number is below.

Take care.

My only comment is that your total cholesterol and LDL (bad cholesterol) are relatively high compared to current UK recommendations. That is why your atorvastatin dose has been increased. However there is plenty of information on the BHF website about heart healthy lifestyle measures which will be of additional benefit to you, including diet, exercise, body weight management, (and alcohol and smoking) so I suggest you look through what is on there and decide if there is anything that you could take up.
