I'm back, my leaving was my decision, nothing to do with admin. Please don't blame them

Hi, Sue here, Castleview as was. It was my decision to close my last account, please don't blame admin. I was at a very low point and probably overreacted. I'm back now and posted a positive update and although there will still be down days we're both feeling so much more optimistic and hopefully he'll be home August/September

Thanks for all the mostly positive support, I've missed it

Sue x

so pleased your back.

Right at the beginning I told you my father’s journey at 49 . Slow recovery but he enjoyed a long lovely life with the family that loved him until he was 90

Don’t disappear again we are with you in spirit ❤️

So glad to see you back again. Great news for you and Ralph. I will follow along as you are both so inspirational in the way you overcome every obstacle. Wishing Ralph all the best with his further recovery and hugs to you, we missed your updates and were worried about you. I may not post much as I am doing well, but I am emotionally invested in several people's journeys through this health jungle and it is a relief to hear such good news from you.

I had my BC op at Chesterfield in 2008. Parking is horrendous there now!

It's the same at the hospitals in Cardiff parking is a nightmare!

Once I was working in the pharmacy at Llandough and they asked myself and colleagues to help out in the Heath pharmacy as their robot had broken down so off we went!

The manager at Llandough had said to me about going in the car to the Heath and park up there and to that I said how I had come on the bus and that you have to be crackers to drive to the hospital sites unless you are disabled!

That's why they do the park and ride buses on a weekday where you park the car at pentwyn and get the bus to the Heath so the spaces are there for those who need them!

So good to hear your back. I’ve just read your update on Ralph so pleased that he’s making good progress and everything’s looking more positive. I sincerely hope he continues to do so and he will be home with his family very very soon where he belongs. Probably driving you mad as they all do but home and happy with his family. Take care and please don’t disappear again ❤️😊🌞X

Hi Sue, It's so good to see you back!!

It sounds like there has been quite an improvement with Ralph which is great, and must lift your spirits and his!!

What a horrible time you have both had, but your strength in supporting Ralph through everything has been amazing Sue.

I would do exactly the same if it were me.

Ralph is one lucky man to have you by his side!!

You are bound to have days where you just can't see a way forward. I know, because I've been the same many times over the last 16 months.

Things are changing though and moving in the right direction, so that is excellent. I wish Ralph continued strength in his recovery and please look after yourself Sue.

Lots of love from Scotland. Xxxx

l am sure we all understand and don’t think any the less of you. You have had a very long and difficult path to tread with many highs and lows. You must be totally worn out mentally and physically, so you must deal with things that give you the least stress and in your own way. There is a time to be silent and to gather your thoughts. Sometimes, when we see a light at the end of the tunnel, we go flop. It is necessary for the nervous system to reboot itself and calm is the best way. This awful time for you will end and you will be happy again. Although it seems forever, hang on in there . Like Winston Churchill said “We will never surrender.” Sending you love and prayers.
