I have had SVT a long time,in excess of 15 years,I have had multiple trips to A/E for treatment with adenosine,my heart rate can be anywhere from 200 to 230 and without treatment can go on for several hours.
I know how to convert and can manage to do that by myself,
however I'm utterly fed up with this now,
it's annoying to have to consider can I manage to stretch up to reach something without getting svt,or being out in company or shopping and taking SVT and having to find a way home because I don't want to call an ambulance.
I have been referred to cardiology several times,a few times after being in A/ E for treatment and also because I have a leaking heart valve but it has never progressed to more than one face to face appointment and then nothing.
My daughter had SVT and has already had her ablation after one trip to A/E.
I'm beginning to feel like the invisible woman, who do I complain to?
Apologies for such a long post

i had svt about 5 years ago. It got progressively worse and I then had an ablation and all has been good since. I tended to trigger the svt by bending down, along with many other things. Initially I could stop it by lying on my back and relaxing, not always easy when in town on a rainy day 😄
