This year in January, I go the MRI done. My MRI reports are suggesting I have wall thickness of 18mm in mid anteroseptal segment, dyskinetic true apex (apical aneurysm) and LGE in basal to mid anterior and septal segments amounting to >30% total myocardial mass. The faulty gene identified is MYH7.
I do not have irregular heart beats, never had unexplained syncope and not sure about SCD in my family. I do experience frequent chest pain.
I have met few Cardiologists in India and I have got a mixed response in suggestion for an ICD
Some says its Critical, and some says its my choice and I can choose not to have it
I need some guidance into if I should get an ICD and will it be a wise decision?
